Do you have trouble remembering birthdays and anniversaries?
Add it to the list of things you’ve got in common with
bigot presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann…
The politician made a mayjah “boo-boo” Tuesday, when she urged everyone at her rally in Spartanburg, South Carolina to wish a “Happy Birthday” to rock icon Elvis Presley. She even played his song “Promised Land” during the event.
What a lovely gesture…If only it were really Elvis’ birthday.
Since American history sooo obviously isn’t Michy’s strong suit, which one of us should be the first to tell her that Aug. 16 was the 34th anniversary of Elvis’ final breath? For those now in-the-know, the “King of Rock ‘n Roll” was born on Jan. 8, 1935.
Tuesday was actually Madonna’s birthday, in case you were wondering.
It’s not the first time Bachmann’s opened her mouth and inserted a stiletto. (What else is new?) Who could forget the time that she proudly bragged about sharing a homestate with actor John Wayne when in actuality its clown/child killer John Wayne Gacy who also hailed from Iowa.
