Before Michaele Salahi and her polo-playing husband, Tareq, shimmed into The White House illegally, the wannabe reality star faked her way onto a NFL cheerleading squad, The Washington Post has learned.

The blonde performed with a group of 150 former Redskins cheerleaders at FedEx Field in Maryland during halftime of the Redskins-St. Louis Rams game on Sept. 20. Just one problem: Michaele Salahi was never a Redskins cheerleader. Salahi’s rehearsals with the group were filmed by a crew that has been following her family for possible inclusion on the upcoming Bravo reality show, The Real Housewives of DC.

One week after Tareq and Michaele drew international attention by getting into The Obamas first state dinner — in honor of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh — sans invitation, they’ve denied that they had “crashed” the high-security gala.

The White House, on the other hand, continues to state that The Salahis were not invited to the dinner.
