Gold medal-winning Olympian says a new photo of him and a barely-dressed woman, identified as Las Vegas cocktail waitress Caroline Pal, at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday was a set-up by a greedy photographer.

“They pose the girl up next to me as I get out of the car, and she follows me in,” Michael explained on Live with Regis & Kelly Friday. “I was like, ‘Oh wow, you guys are pretty original — pose somebody next to me to make it look like we’re together!’ She, like, follows me up the counter.”

“I’ve never seen her before in my life! They were following us all day in L.A., so it was just nuts.”
