Michael Lohan, White House Party Crashers For VH1 “Celebrity Rehab”
Dancing With The Stars may have a talk show diva, a former boxing champion, and The Original Karate Kid hoffing their way to gold on the upcoming new season, but VH1 is out to prove that no one does D-Listers like Celebrity Rehab.
Michaele and Tareq Salahi, the suburban Washington couple who saw their profile rise when they walked into The White House uninvited during The Obamas’ first State Dinner, will reportedly join Lindsay Lohan’s chatty dad, Michael Lohan, on the next season of the addiction-themed docu-sop, hosted by TV headshrinker Dr. Drew.
Though Lindsay has not commented specifically on her father’s rumored Rehab stay, the real-life repeat rehabber had this to say when quizzed about her dad by RadarOnline.com Wednesday.
“I am sorry that my father has continually chosen to speak publicly about our relationship, my mother, my siblings, and my professional team. I am working through my recovery day-by-day and find his public media bouts unnecessary and damaging.”
Word on the Curb even has it that The Real Housewives of DC alums will share the small screen with actress Bai Ling and former Mets pitcher Dwight “Doc” Gooden. Actor Jeremy Jackson, best remembered as David Hasselhoff TV son Hobie on the ’90s primetime sudster Baywatch, is also said to be on board.
