Michael Lohan, father of Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan, has revealed that he is “concerned” for his estranged daughter amid reports that a warrant has been issued for her arrest.

On Friday, Beverly Hills Police issued a warrant for the 22-year-old’s arrest stemming from a 2007 drunk driving offense.

“I am very concerned for my daughter. I love her. I wish the very best for her,” Michael Lohan said in a statement to Extra TV early Monday. “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – she has to be careful of the people around her. I worry about any of those negative elements in her life.”

The 58-year-old ex-con has frequently come under fire for commenting on Lindsay’s private life in statements to the press.

“I’m going to do everything I can to help her, including going to L.A. this week. I know that Steven and Danny Baldwin have reached out to her to help as well.”
