Michael Jackson’s eldest son has landed a job as a special correspondent for syndicated TV newsmagazine Entertainment Tonight.
Prince Michael Jackson, 16, has aspirations of one day stepping behind the camera as a director. The teen is hoping his first gig will lead to a long career in the world of entertainment.
“I’m looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor. I’ve been raised around stuff like this so it was different being the interviewer instead of the one being interviewed.”
Prince’s first sit-down came with James Franco, Zach Braff and director Sam Raimi, who have hit the promo track ahead of the release of their Wizard of Oz prequel Oz the Great and Powerful. As for his next interview subject? Prince hopes it’ll be Peter Jackson.
“…I love his movies. Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and King Kong. I just love the way he shoots (and how) he brings things and depicts it back to life. I used to study his movies with my dad, put the volume off and just watch it, just the shots to see how he put it together.”
