Michael Jackson “Thriller-Live” Broadway Production

“Thriller” is coming to Broadway.
New York theater owner James Nederlander is producing a musical version of Michael Jackson’s 1983 music video “Thriller” that is expected to hit the Nederlander Theatre sometime in the next few years.
In the meantime, producers have announced open auditions to find an unknown to play a young Michael Jackson on the West End stage. The young man will be cast as the lead in the musical Thriller – Live when it opens in London this January.
Producers are looking for a “young black, African-American or dual heritage boy aged 11 to 15 with an excellent unbroken pop/rock voice with a high range, who is exciting, confident and energetic.”
“Thriller – Live is an uplifting, feel-good show with incredible choreography and sensational songs that everyone knows and loves – it’s just the sort of escapist entertainment people need to take their minds off how tough life is at the moment.”
