Joe Jackson has presented ABC News with photos of his late son’s painful-looking puncture wounds and bleached skin.

The images had been released to prove that Michael Jackson suffered from vitiligo, the skin-whitening disease which he often claimed prompted him to lighten his skin. However, the pictures instead rose questions about the bizarre puncture wounds that peppered the pop star’s body.

Dr Debra Jaliman, a spokeswoman for the American Academy of Dermatology, told the TV network: “It looks like there are multiple punctures from intravenous placement.”
