Michael Jackson Prank Called Russell Crowe For Three Years And Then It Got Weird
Russell Crowe was prank called by Michael Jackson for three years in a row and that’s not even the weird part. It turns out that the king of pop and the box office champion never even met in real life.
In a recent interview with The Guardian Russell Crowe explains the strange set of circumstances that followed him for several years.
“For two or three fucking years,” he says. “I never met him, never shook his hand, but he found out the name I stayed in hotels under, so it didn’t matter where I was, he’d ring up do this kind of thing, like you did when you were 10, you know. ‘Is Mr Wall there? Is Mrs Wall there? Are there any Walls there? Then what’s holding the roof up? Ha ha.’ You’re supposed to grow out of doing that, right?”
In 2009 Russell Crowe revealed the first Michael Jackson pranks, to The Sun. “He’d ring me and in a strong voice and say, ‘There is an emergency and you need to leave the building,'” Crowe said. “I’d ask, ‘Who is this?’ And he’d say, ‘Do not worry Russell, just kidding, this is Michael.'”
Michael Jackson was well-known for acting like a grown-up child, but his stalking of Russell Crowe is a whole lot creepy.
