Brit’s out, Michael’s in? Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, is in discussions to make an appearance at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, airing live from Los Angeles September 7.

TMZ reports:

“Sources close to the awards tell us MTV honchos have been working OT to get Jacko to reappear at the awards. We’re told a deal is as good as sealed to have MJ present an award with sister Janet.”
