Michael Jackson Moonwalk Tribute London
Hundreds of Michael Jackson’s fans gathered and danced on London streets to pay tribute to the pop music icon.
The crowd gathered for a flash mob tribute to Michael Jackson and his famous Moonwalk outside Liverpool Street Station in London on Friday night.
Jackson fan Milo Yiannopoulls organized the event by inviting people to moonwalk for Michael through social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.
(Why can’t someone put together something like this here in the States?)
“Somebody said it as a joke on Twitter at about nine thirty this morning that we should do this mass thing in Liverpool Street station. I thought that’s funny, and then a couple of minutes later, I thought no let’s actually do it,” he said.
“Well obviously everybody’s interested in the scandal and controversy, but really I think his legacy is the music, as we’re here to enjoy the music,” he added.

Think with me for just a moment if you will.
If there is one thing this world has to mourn about, its the fact that we have forgotten about our true King.
He is not the king of pop, neither was he the king of rock n’roll.
He was born in a manger, a man who lived in the most humble and lowly circumstances, a man who “knew not where to lay his head”.
A man “who went about doing good.” A man who died for you and me, and the entire race of human beings, not one of whom has been excluded from his great sacrifice.
I ask you, who is the King the world has forgotten?
Can you honestly say to yourselves you have? I know I have.
Which King is best interested in your own well-being and genuine happiness? Was it Elvis? Was it Michael?
Was it any earthly icon who practiced music as part of their life’s legacy?
Or was it the babe born in the most humblest of circumstances?
Who rightly deserves our praise, our love, our time, our attention, our gratitude?
