Michael Jackson is expected to be honored at Disneyland, as officials at the Anaheim theme park prepare to start screening a sci-fi short film in tribute to the late King of Pop.

CAPTAIN EO – Short Film With Michael Jackson – 1986

Captain EO was a 17-minute 3D movie, which starred the “Thriller” star as part of a space crew who were on a mission to take a present to an alien leader. The feature was originally shown at the amusement venue in the lates ’80s and early ’90s and is expected to be introduced to modern thrillseekers in honor of Jackson, who passed away June 25.

Bosses are expected to make an announcement about the plan on September 10.
