Michael Jackson’s casket will reportedly be transported to his public memorial held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles — Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton told The Associated Press on Tuesday morning.

“Mr. Jackson’s remains will be going to the Staples Center. We’re not giving any details,” Chief William Bratton told reporters.

The public memorial is slated to begin at 10 AM PST.

As previously reported, Stevie Wonder, Usher, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, Magic Johnson, Smokey Robinson, and John Mayer are among the superstar guests set to participate in the service.

A private memorial for the King of Pop — who passed away on June 25 at the age of 50 — will be held this morning at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
