Michael Jackson Brain In Possession Of Los Angeles Coroner’s Office

Michael Jackson’s brain is still being held by investigators trying to determine the cause of his fatal attack.
On Wednesday, officials with the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office confirmed that they are currently in possession of and conducting toxicology tests on the brain of the late pop great.
According to Assistant Chief Ed Winter, the coroner will return the brain to Jackson’s family once the tests are complete. The Jacksons will then decide whether to bury MJ’s brain alongside the rest of his remains or preserve the organ.
Winter added that it is not uncommon for a coroner to hold onto the brain or parts of the brain for testing.
It could still take weeks to determine the cause of death.
