Michael J. Fox Good Housekeeping April 2009
In the April issue of Good Housekeeping, available on newsstands March 10, Michael J. Fox is speaking out about some of things that have inspired him to keep living since revealing that he has Parkinson’s Disease ten years ago.
The former Family Ties star talks about how he was inspired by a famous cyclist who also struggled with serious disease. “Then, Lance Armstrong showed up, and I started talking to him; I saw all these people with cancer who followed him to Paris for the Tour de France, and I saw the difference he was making in their lives. That put it together for meā¦having it be not so much about me, but [my being] a vehicle for it.”
Michael has written a new memoir titled Always Looking Up. An exclusive preview in available in the new issue of G.H.
