One woman got Darfur mentioned by every major new organization. I understand the comments about the problems we have here in the US and the thinking that we should be focused on ourselves, but there are no real comparisons. Genocide - violent crimes committed against groups with the intent to destroy the existence of the group. That is what is happening there. We do not have thousands of people with machetes chopping people up in our streets and raping countless women here in the US. Watch George Clooney's documentary "Sand and Sorrow" and then tell me it is not our problem. The most powerful country in the world can help and get other contries to help.
