M.I.A. Baby Name Ickitt
Sri Lankan rap star M.I.A. has selected a name for her newborn son with fiance Benjamin Brewer.
And if you thought Bronx Mowgli was bad…hold on to your hat.
According to Latina Magazine, the boy will be called “Ickitt.” Yes, Latina says, you read right. “The boy’s name is Ickitt.”
The heavily pregnant Oscar-nominated star gave birth to….Ickitt just three days after performing “Swagga Like Us” at the 2009 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles last month.
This poor kid’s gonna need more than “swagga” to pull that name off. Thoughts, anyone?

I have a theory that celebrities give out these ridiculous fake names for their babies as a means of protecting the babies during their formative years. I can think of no other reason to inflict Ickitt on any child.
