I’m rooting for M.I.A.
She’s the most original artist to come out in the last few years. Her lyrics and how she uses the English language with slang and dialect is genius.

And Paper Planes is not a mindless chant. It may be for many who don’t take a moment to listen or simply don’t understand.

If M.I.A. don’t win.. i’m going to be very pissed.. her music is like the best thing I’ve ever heard .. and i listen to a lot of music.. she raps about something a lot of people are afraid to rap about.. and i wish i can vote for her.. but don’t know how.. GO MIA.. i wish u the best in everything .. God i hope u win and they don’t cheat..

if MIA wins a grammy it will be the most credible event in the history of the music industry since the Beatles won popularity. since that time its just been one big spin. Finally theres a pop artist who is politically expressive and you say she aint credible. More likely you aint.
