Metallica $50,000 Reward In Disappearance Of Missing Student Morgan Harrington
The heavy metal rockers of Metallica are offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the the whereabouts of a college student who disappeared from one of their concerts last week, according to The Washington Post.

Blonde-haired, blue-eyed Morgan Harrington was last seen dressed in black boots, a black skirt and a black Pantera t-shirt while waiting with her friends at a Metallica show in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday, Oct. 17. At approximately 8:40PM, the 20-year-old went to the ladies room and ended up outside the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia. She called her friends to say staff at the venue were refusing to let her back inside and told them she was headed back to her dorm on the campus of Virginia Tech University. She has not been seen since.

The FBI is trying to discover what happened Morgan, who is by her parents described as “open, beautiful, artistic and giving.”
Metallica’s $50,000, announced on the website findmorgan.com, adds to the $100,000 being offered by Morgan’s parents, Daniel and Gil, bringing the total reward to $150,000. The cash will go to anyone who returns Morgan to her parents or can provide information leading to the arrest of whoever is responsible for her disappearance.
Morgan was not carrying ID or a cell phone when she went missing.

“We are deeply concerned about the disappearance of 20 year old Virginia Tech student Morgan Dana Harrington, who was last seen while attending our concert at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA, on Saturday night,” the band wrote under the headline “One Of Our Fans Is Missing” on its official website on Monday.
Metallica is asking everyone who attended the Oct. 17 show to check camera footage and photos to see if they can spot anyone resembling Morgan.
