Reformed boozer Mel Gibson has appointed himself an authority on Kevin Federline and Britney Spears’ parenting skills.

K-Fed was taken aback when he received two calls from Mel offering fatherly advice over the past few weeks.

“Kevin thinks it’s kind of weird – he doesn’t know the guy, obviously – but Mel lectures him on how the children need their mother, and says he should make things as easy as possible for Britney,” a friend of Federline revealed to the National Enquirer.

Kevin quickly channeled his inner freeloader and told Mel: “Dude, all well and good – but find me some work!”
