Megan Fox’s role in the 2007 action flick Transformers may have catapulted the beauty’s career as an on-screen sex symbol, but in an interview with the June 14 issue of Entertainment Weekly, Megan reveals that she was anything but pleased with her performance in the film.

“I’m terrible in it,” she sulks. “It’s my first real movie and it’s not honest and not realistic. The movie wasn’t bad, I just wasn’t proud about what I did.”

Megan believes fans have only seen “seven percent” of her what she can do, she hopes moviegoers thinks will get to see more of her talent in the movie’s upcoming sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, opening in theaters June 24.

“On the new one, I tried,” she said. “But… working with Michael Bay is not about an acting experience. People are well aware that this is not a movie about acting. And once you realize that, it becomes almost fun because you can be in the moment and go, ‘All right, I know that when he calls, ‘Action!’ I’m either going to be running or screaming, or both.’”

Nonetheless, Megan isn’t so sure her screen presence has improved.

“I think I could be. If I really buckle down, I think one day I could be a very good actress. But so far, I haven’t done anything yet,” she said.

Megan will appear in the horror film Jennifer’s Boy later this year. The role will be followed by a showing as a prostitute in the Josh Brolin-assisted Jonah Hex, opening in 2010.
