Megan Fox is struggling to cope with her newfound singledom.

Following months of speculation, the star of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, has confirmed that she has split from actor Brian Austin Green after five years of dating.

In fact, last month, Megan celebrated her 23rd birthday in Hawaii — all by herself.

“Alone. I am not in a committed relationship right now,” she said in an interview with The Daily Telegraph. “I really don’t know anything about being single yet, really. I’ve been reading a lot and listening to music and trying just to work on myself.”

“Right now there’s no space in my head for who’s going to be next or how I need to fill my time. I’m just trying to be comfortable with who I am before I get into another relationship,” Megan explained before adding, “(Otherwise) I will be Elizabeth Taylor by the time I’m 60 and I don’t want to do that.”
