Sarah Michelle Gellar is playing Buffy. That’s a fact.
The issue was that they were debating restarting the series after the new movie, and the only way the rest of the cast would come back was if Joss Whedon directed it.

I’m really really praying that this is a joke! Or Just a gimmick to get everyone talking about a possible movie in the making! Megan Fox should NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER play someone as noble, trustworthy, caring, lovable, cute, and loving as Buffy’s Character was.

I don’t understand why they don’t just do a spin-off type movie of BtVS, like someone said above do a future slayer.

Why in the hell would they redo the original BtVS if Sarah Michelle Gellar isn’t playing ‘Buffy’? It’s a bad move for ratings and money which wont pour in.

Bad idea to make Megan Fox ‘Buffy’.
Good idea to do another Vampire Slayer movie.

She ‘s alright but i think Katie Cassidy from Supernatural would be a better choice there . I could see Megan Fox playing Faith.

I agree with not making buffy megan fox. She is a great actress and love Transformers. Her style is more rough and daring look. She could possible play another slayer. Sort of reminds me of Faith.

If they create a whole new story line then create a new cast. If they continue it from season 7 then they need the same cast.

Either way I will be a huge fan always will be.

As for Sarah playing Buffy, I would love her to come back. It is up to her. She has tried so hard in breaking that character. I have all of her movies and still think of her as Buffy.
