Have you heard the rumor that Transformers star Megan Fox is being lined up for the role of Buffy Summers in the upcoming big-screen remake of the 1992 film, Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Actress Kristy Swanson played the role in the original Buffy movie. In 1997, Sarah Michelle Gellar revived the character for a starring spot on The WB TV drama of the same name.

I think Megan Fox would just ruin that movie. I can’t see her playing Buffy. There are a few people who could pull it off, and Megan Fox isn’t one of them. Although I crave more Buffy and support the movie, there will never be a better Buffy than Sarah Michelle Gellar.

I agree with not making buffy megan fox. She is a great actress and love Transformers. Her style is more rough and daring look. She could possible play another slayer. Sort of reminds me of Faith.

If they create a whole new story line then create a new cast. If they continue it from season 7 then they need the same cast.

Either way I will be a huge fan always will be.

As for Sarah playing Buffy, I would love her to come back. It is up to her. She has tried so hard in breaking that character. I have all of her movies and still think of her as Buffy.
