Mayor Of Newark Bans Conan O’Brien
Conan fires back after being banned from Newark International Airport.
On Tuesday, Cory Booker, the Twitter-lovin’ mayor of Newark, took time out of his busy day to respond to a joke Conan O’Brien made about Brick City on The Tonight Show last week. The joke in question goes like this:
“The mayor of Newark New Jersey wants to set up a citywide program to improve residents’ health… The health care program would consist of a bus ticket out of Newark.”
After noting that his city has one of the largest airports in the United States, Booker officially put the late night personality on the Newark Airport No-Fly List.
“Try JFK buddy!” Booker declares.
