Matt Damon joins Cindy McCain and Michelle Obama, who are vying to become America’s next First Lady, in a 30-second spot called Voices, the ONE campaign’s latest attempt at ending world poverty and disease.

“The ONE Campaign isn’t about taking sides, it’s about taking action,” Matt says in the commercial. “America is saving millions of lives in the poorest parts of the world — I saw it myself in Zambia and Tanzania.”

In an audio voiceover, Michelle Obama applauds ONE, saying we have a “moral obligation to help those across the world.” Cindy McCain says she is “proud” of ONE’s achievements adding, “there’s still more to do.” ONE has placed 41 million kids in school and claims to have saved more than 3 million children from dying of preventable diOneseases.

The new public service announcement debuts on TV August 24.
