Rumors of a Olsen Twins split persist as tabloid snitches claim the twiggy sisters are at odds over control of their massive billion dollar fortune.

“They wrestle for control, and even though they love each other, money causes them to argue…They get together or make public appearances when they have to but stay apart the rest of the time…They just don’t see eye-to-eye anymore. Their lives have taken different paths.”

The National Enquirer reports the Olsens are arguing over everything from the 2004 decision to buy their parents out of Dualstar Entertainment empire to the decision to sell their New York City condo:

“Mary-Kate didn’t want to sell. She loves the Manhattan nightlife and wanted to keep the place so it would be easy for her to stay in New York and party,” a spywitness tells The National Enquirer. “But Ashley wanted to dump the condo…They argued over it extensively. The condo should have been a simple transaction. But it turned into a real ordeal, creating bitter feelings.”

“Ashley’s been considering separating their assets and trusts and getting her own business manager.”

According to the Enquirer report: One of their most recent tiffs has to do with their new contemporary clothing line….There was a blowup between sisters after Ashley commented that the clothing line’s designs looked “trampy” and then blamed it on Mary-Kate!

“Ashley’s isn’t an angel, but she’s tired of having to take care of Mary-Kate,” a spying friend of the pair gushes to Star Magazine. “They used to do everything together-but not anymore! Ashley’s decided she doesn’t want to go down with her.”

A rep for Mary-Kate and Ashley deny the twins are crawling each other’s eyes out over the cheese, stating: “They don’t fight over money and they don’t have creative differences. They do have different ideas, but work things out as business partners and sisters.”
