It’s safe to say Mark Wahlberg won’t be hosting Saturday Night Live anytime soon.

The Departed actor has been left rather unamused by an October 4 sketch on the classic comedy series that featured SNL star Adam Samberg as dog, goat, and chicken-whispering Wahlberg.

Mark blasted the skit, adeptly titled “Mark Wahlberg Talks To Animals,” and SNL in an Q&A segment with the New York Times on Sunday.

Someone showed it to me on YouTube. It wasn’t like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that’s for sure. And “Saturday Night Live” hasn’t been funny for a long time. They’ve asked me to do the show a ton of times. I used to watch it when Eddie Murphy was there and Joe Piscopo and Bill Murray. I don’t even know who’s on the show now.
