Marie Osmond has confirmed earlier reports she will return to the small screen with her own talk show. The daytime chatfest, simply titled Marie, is set to premiere in the Fall of 2009.

“I want it to be a fun show, that girlfriend destination where we can all laugh a little bit, cry a little bit and just enjoy life,” Marie says.

“It felt like the right time, the right partners, everyone involved,” she says. “You know, you live enough life and after a while you go, ‘Okay, maybe I’ve been through enough things that I think I’m semi-intelligent on certain subjects!’”
