Malaysia Calls Gwen Stefani ‘Sweet Escape Tour’ ‘Too Obscene’

Gwen Stefani is reportedly facing calls for the cancellation of her ‘Sweet Escape’ tour in Malaysia admist claims that the show it ‘too obscene.’
A Muslim students’ group in the country are pressing for the Kuala Lumpur leg of her current tour to be cancelled on the grounds that it would clash with local Islamic values.
The controversial show is set for August 21st at the city’s Putra Stadium.
“We want the organizers to cancel the concert, failing which we will ask the authorities to intervene,” the group’s president, Mohamad Hilmi Ramli tells the press.
