The claws are coming out on ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ Professional dancer and partner to Scary Spice, Maksim Chmerokovskiy, has blasted fellow ‘Dancing’ finalist Marie Osmond, claiming the Mormon entertainer should have received the boot in last week’s audience vote that sent Jennie Garth packing.

“I think Jennie was better than Marie. Frankly, I think there are a lot of other people better than Marie.”

“Yeah, I think she represents a lot of women out there with all their problems. I know first hand that there are a lot of other celebrities on the show who went through somewhat similar situations this season and they decided not to make it public… we decided not to burden people with our personal issues. I think that is why our fan base carries us through because they vote for our dancing not whatever happens in our life.”

Last night Helio was the best. Overall, of the three, Mel should win. But the final three should actually have been Mel, Helio and Sabrina. They need to change the rules to give more precedence to the judges’ scores. This is about dancing, not popularity.

It does appear she has milked the publicity of her dad’s death, her son’s rehab, promoting her own business, the fainting spell. People forget she is a grown woman of 48 years & not the totally sweet girl of years ago. Marie will get the vote of older viewers, Mel B. will get the younger ones. I think the blonde girl & racecar driver are caught in the middle of the controversey & don’t have a chance now.
