Madonna Refusing To Cooperate In Stage Collapse Investigation
Pop diva Madonna is refusing to cooperate with officials investigating the collapse of a stage that left 50 people injured during her tour in Marseilles, France last Thursday.
Two technicians died after a temporary roof fell on workers preparing for the “Borderline” star’s Sunday night show in the city.
Despite visiting with the injured workers and the family of at least one of the late victims, Madonna, 50, has “declined” to be interviewed by investigators in the case.
“She let us know it was impossible. We noted it in the procedure. We regret her refusal,” a source close to the inquiry said in a statement to The Daily Mirror Wednesday.
