Madonna and her husband, director Guy Ritchie, have purchased a pub in London’s Mayfair District.

The couple paid $5 million for the eighteenth century dwelling, dubbed The Punchbowl. The Mayfair staple has entertained celebrities like Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Barbra Streisand.

“It’s only around the corner from their West End home,” says a tabloid mole. “The sale of the pub went through and the previous owners were offered a huge sum of money for the freehold. It has everything Madge and Guy want – A-lister regulars and a tough edge…”
