Madonna has been accused of being a noisy neighbor after she installed a state-of-the-art music studio in her New York apartment.

Residents at the upscale Harperly Hall building, where Madonna owns a seventh floor apartment, near NYC’s Central Park, say the Material Girl keeps them up all night with spur of the moment recording sessions.

“They asked her for a schedule of when she would practice, but she hasn’t adhered to it.”

“The music is playing at all hours of the night, and the noise from the drums and the bass blares through the walls.”

A spokeswoman for the 50-year-old star has denied the allegations.

Publicist Liz Rosenberg tells the New York Daily News: “Madonna does not stay up till all hours of the night, so I can’t imagine there is any validity to this story.”

“She needs her rest. She’s a working girl, you know.”
