Madonna’s lifestyle–which includes a recent divorce, an alleged extramartial affair with Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, and a fling with a college kid–could impact the pop star’s plans to add another black baby to her collection.

Last week, Madge expressed an interest adopting a second child from Malawi, the nation from which she adopted son David Banda in 2006. But leading officials in the African country say the Material Girl’s recent history with men is anything but immaterial.

Madonna, who divorced British director ex Guy Ritchie earlier this year, is currently dating 22-year-old Brazilian model Jesus Luz.

She’s 50.

Malawi’s adoption officials say Madge’s fling, coupled with her rumored hookup with Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez, may doom her desire to adopt 3-year-old Mercy James.

“Our official policy is that we do not encourage our children to be sent into broken homes,” a senior official from Malawi’s Ministry of Women and Child Welfare Development reportedly told The NY Daily News on Monday. “[Madonna's] relationships may negatively affect the adoption of Mercy,” the official added.

“The news she is linked to another woman’s husband and a young man less than half her age makes us question her morals.”

And that could mean trouble for Madonna, because morality is a paramount part of the Malawian adoption process, says Simon Chisale, the nation’s child welfare chief.
