Madonna has titled her upcoming April 29th studio release Hard Candy. Longtime rep Liz Rosenberg explains the selection simply to Entertainment Weekly: “she loves candy,” Liz says.

“It’s about the juxtaposition of tough and sweetness, or as Madonna so eloquently expressed ‘I’m gonna kick your ass, but it’s going to make you feel good,” Liz says.

Hard Candy will feature guest appearances and production by Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, and Timbaland.
