Madonna has splurged on some high-end Christmas gifts for the daughters of alleged lover Alex Rodriguez.

The Material Girl purchased Burberry clothing and baby furniture for Natasha, 3, and 7-month-old Ella, the Yankee slugger’s daughters with ex-wife Cynthia Rodriguez.

The baseball star has been supporting the singer, who recently divorced director Guy Ritchie, on her Sticky & Sweet tour dates in Mexico City and Miami.

“Madge is so comfortable in the parental role,” a source tells the Daily Mail. “She also knows how happy it makes Alex when she shows her nurturing side.”

“She picked up a little red Burberry wool coat and a little black Burberry dress for Natasha. And for Ella, she ordered a round crib from Bonne Nuit and one of their tables.”

Earlier this week, A-Rod, 33, issued a statement denying any romantic relationship with the legendary pop singer.
