The older sister of actor Macaulay Culkin died Wednesday after being struck by a car.

Dakota, 29, was walking along a street in Los Angeles Tuesday when she stepped off a curb and was struck by a car. She was taken to the UCLA Medical Center where she later died.

The Home Alone star’s rep says in a statement to TMZ: “We can officially confirm that the victim is Dakota Culkin. This is a terrible tragic accident. We have no further comment at this time.”
