A “distraught” Lynne Spears is asking the public to pray for her oldest daughter after receiving the news that her grandsons were held hostage by their mother in a three hour custody battle standoff with the LAPD on Thursday night.

Crying on the phone, Lynne Spears simply asked reporters to: “Just say prayers.”
