Long-Lost Siblings Reunited Thanks To Tinder Match

Eric and Josephine Brother and Sister Reunited on Tinder

When Erik tried to find his long-lost sibling Josephine several years ago his search didn’t turn up the results he was hoping to achieve. Erik eventually went on with his life and ended his constant attempts to find his family member.

As young people tend to do these days, Erik started browsing around Tinder, where he would swipe right on any matches he found attractive or interesting.

After a short period of time, Erik found a cute match and swiped right. The newly match pair started chatting and even flirting, not realizing that they had a lot more in common than their tastes.

Erik and Josephine’s parents had gone through a rocky divorce and they started sharing stories about their memories from that time in their life. Eventually the pair realized that they were talking about the same divorce!

“The first time I swiped her profile I had absolutely no idea,” Erik told Mic. “To be honest, it hasn’t been on my mind in the past few years…In our first conversation, I was actually flirting with her…,” he said.

The newly reunited brother and sister met up a week later.

“When I saw him, it was suddenly very clear,” Josephine, now 22, told Dating site Kiezen. “It was so special to see my own blood brother again after 16 years.”

Is it just me or does Tinder keep getting creepier every single day.
