This perky young girl can’t quite keep herself out of the limelight, no matter what she does. Late last year we had several posts about her – and they weren’t really all that flattering. Remember the Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and all that? Well at the start of the New Year, the 20-year old Hollywood star was propelled into the front pages of entertainment tabloids once again. She complained of not feeling well so she had to be brought to the doctor. After examining her, her doctors recommended that she undergo surgery to have her appendix taken out.

Now of course it isn’t really a big deal. Appendectomy is a routine operation. Then again, this is Lindsay Lohan and we are all ears when it comes to her comings and goings. The good news is that the operation went on without any hitches and she is well on her way to recovery.

That is more than we can say about Lindsay’s life last year, though! She had had several health issues in 2006, if any of you can remember. In September she slipped at a studio in New York and fractured her wrist. Earlier in the year she was once again seen in the tabloids a lot because of exhaustion and dehydration. Then there is the car accident in November. How about the bruises she suffered from learning how to dance around a pole, which she suffered in late December as well?

I don’t know about you, but I do not envy her about these things. Here’s to a safer and healthier year for Lindsay Lohan!
