Lisa Wu-Hartwell Loses Home To Foreclosure
The housing crunch in Hotlanta proved a bit too hot for one star of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta. Lisa Wu-Hartwell and her second husband Edgerton Hartwell — a former linebacker for the Oakland Raiders — have reportedly lost their multimillion dollar Georgia estate to foreclosure.
Sheesh — do any of the women on that show have any money?
According to TMZ.com, Lisa and Ed were forced to leave their $2.9 million home last week after the couple defaulted on their loan. The bank sold the home soon after.
The couple had called the property home since 2007.
A rep for the reality star tried to downplay the foreclosure reports Tuesday, telling TMZ: “Ed and Lisa are fine. They have settled in their [new] home, that sits on 10 acres and they own it!”
This is not the first time Bravo’s ATL Housewives have found themselves down and out of house and home. Earlier this year, castmember Sheree Whitfield was forced to move to a smaller home after her ex-husband — another former NFL player — quit paying the mortgage on her mansion. Audience favorite NeNe Leakes has also been the subject of debt rumors.
