NBC cancelled its returning sophomore series Lipstick Jungle late Wednesday, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.

The cancellation comes after the Sex And The City-esque comedy, which starred former model Brooke Shields, dropped to a new ratings low of a meager 3.3 million viewers in recent weeks.

Look for the network to burn off remaining episodes of Lipstick Jungle on NBC Fridays.
