A suspected celebrity stalker has been arrested after attacking actress Lindsay Lohan outside a Scottsdale, Arizona nightclub early Wednesday morning.

Lindsay was accompanying her DJ-ing girlfriend, Samantha Ronson, to a gig hosted by BlackBerry at the Jackrabbit Lounge when a man in the crowd, later identified as Daniel Patrick Combs reportedly lunged at her.

“The gentleman became very excited when he realized he was so close to Samantha and he has a history of being a stalker with Lindsay Lohan so he immediately attacked her and started yelling, ‘I love her, I love her,” says Dan Wierck, owner of the Jackrabbit Lounge.

Dan says Lindsay recognized her attacker. Bodyguards and police quickly tackled the man and held him to the ground, while Lindsay was shuttled out of the nightclub with Samantha in tow.

No one was hurt in the melee.
