‘Lifeguard’ Lindsay Lohan kept a watchful eye on her baby brother during Wednesday’s Fourth of July festives spent with friends and family. Linds watched her 11-year-old brother Dakota from a beach house balcony where she was partying with friends, but when she suddenly lost sight of him the young actress immediately dropped everything and went charging off down to the shore.

LiLo released Big Sister Hell on the paps as she bolted through a crowd of shutterbugs to get to her kid brother.

“It was touching to see how concerned she was when he looked like he was in trouble,” says a spywitness.

“I think he must have been hit by a wave and went under for a few seconds - but sometimes that’s all it can take.”

“It was obvious that she was very upset and she was asking people to help find him.”

“He was ok in the end and probably wondered what all the fuss was about.”
