Lindsay Lohan is set to star in a new reality TV show chronicling her tumultuous life and her attempt to make a Hollywood comeback.

FOX News has learned that Lindsay is in discussions with Britney Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph about appearing in a television docu-series about her daily struggles. The once-promising young actress has faced criticism in recent years due to her constant partying and a string of visits to rehab for addictions to alcohol and cocaine.

“Rudolph is helping Lohan with a potential reality show that will encapsulate her trials and tribulations as she gets back on her feet and actually becomes a working actress again,” says an insider.

This isn’t the first time Lindsay has been linked to a reality show. In June, the star was rumoured to be in negotiations with American Idol host Ryan Seacrest to present a philanthropic series inspired by the hit show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
