The private Myspace pages of actress Lindsay Lohan and professional socialite Paris Hilton have been hacked thanks to a kink in the Yahoo.com security console. As a result of the elaborate hacking, dozens of previously-unpublished photos from Lohan and Hilton’s personal profiles have made their way to public doman.

According to Byron Ng, a full-time computer technican/part-time computer hacker from Canada, users who have a Yahoo! mail account are able to illegally tap into the private profiles of anyone on MySpace, regardless of whether they are on the party’s friend’s list or not. Byron made headlines earlier this year when he cracked Facebook.com’s seemingly iron-clad privacy settings and gained access to the Hilton heiress’ private profile on the social networking site.

This info is readily available on the internet, but the profiles are set to private… That’s where the hacking kicks in. Byron found that by signing into yahoomail, one can download a beta myspace widget (start HERE), then one can view any profile based on the profile number, regardless of whether or not the profile is hidden.
