There’s a new celebrity circus in town — and Lindsay and Paris can’t stand it…

The media’s newfound obsession with the stars of TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 isn’t sitting well with former tabloid darlings Lindsay Lohan Lohan and Paris Hilton.

Insiders tell The NY Post’s Page Six Column that the actress and the heiress are on edge after being replaced by troubled reality TV couple Jon and Kate Gosselin on the covers of nearly all of the celebrity glossies for seven consecutive weeks. The Gosselins became hot topic of watercooler gossip after whispers of mutual infidelity and family struggles hit the press in April.

“Lindsay and Paris hate not being on the covers of weeklies,” says one source. “That’s why Lindsay has been causing so much havoc and pulling these antics. And why Paris had a big blow- up with Doug [Reinhardt].”
