Oh give me a break. VOGUE? SERIOUSLY? She has NO REASON to be in Vogue! And can we *please* get over the fascination with Marilyn Monroe and the knock offs? For starters, Marilyn’s face NEVER looked as beat as Lindsay’s does now. Without even clicking on those photos I can see how beat her face looks. And why the obsession with the so called tragic blond? She was voluptuous–Lindsay is not. She was a bleach bottle blond–Lindsay is (usually) not. She was very fair-skinned–Lindsay is not.
The one thing they DO have in common is that they feel important because they could get powerful men to sleep with them (Lindsay Lohan at Jack Nicholson’s a few weeks ago, anyone? And the Jude Law bragging, and Sean Penn rumors?)
And no matter how much she tries to wrap her identity around Marilyn, none of us are ever going to do what she wants by romanticizing her addictions as her being a “tortured artist”.
Marilyn was a tramp who hung out with mafiosos and dated Anton LaVey. She loved enemas. She was tortured by personal demons. She battled various addictions. She was, by all appearances, extremely unhappy. Yeah, I want to be just like her! I cant stand that Scarlett Johannssososnn (or however she spells her pretentious name) and Christina Aguilera and all them INSIST on looking like her over and over and over again. Is is so they can talk about how tragic and glamorous she was while they’re on the red carpet, thereby diverting attention from their own drama…?

I completely agree with you ?-
This girl is not, I repeat NOT, an inspiration to other girls her age. Really, there is nothing classy about her these days and it’s a little insulting to other models that work hard to portray POSITIVE images of themselves.
SMH.

For heaven sake. Lindsay will NEVER be the new Marilyn. F*CK her if she really thinks she will be. Nobody will ever become classy as Monroe once was. Lindsay’s just slutty and should stop dying her damn hair!
