Los Angeles Police are investigating a reported burglary at Lindsay Lohan’s home in the Hollywood Hills.

Early Sunday morning, Lindsay arrived home from a weekend in her native New York to discover that her home had been burglarized.

“The safe was ripped out of the wall, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed,” Lindsay’s mom Dina told PEOPLE.com. “Bags, shoes and jewelry were taken too. Thank God she wasn’t home.”

Los Angeles Police Officer Norma Eisenman says the possible break-in was reported to police this morning: “All we can confirm is that we are investigating a possible break in at the residence and we still have officers on the scene. We got a call shortly before 7 a.m. this morning and it’s still under investigation. No arrests have been made.”

In May, police were also called to the star’s home after a surveillance video showed two unidentified males trying to enter the propety.
